The Lower Saucon Authority will be replacing approximately 1200′ of 8″ water main on Merryweather Drive starting in late May or early June. This is part of our proactive pipe replacement program where we replace aging pipe every year before it gets in bad enough shape to have constant breaks. By proactively replacing pipe, we feel that we are saving our customers money by eliminating the cost of lost water and the cost of repairing breaks. This helps contribute to our very low percent of lost (non-revenue) water.
